Photo Challenge Days 19-24

I can't even believe that we are already at the 24th day of October. This year has been flying by so fast, hasn't it? This time next month I'll be knee deep in Thanksgiving prep work! Crazy.

Anywho, let's catch up on this Photo Challenge, shall we?

Day 19: Something Orange
Mike insisted that this perfume bottle was more "peach" than orange, but I prefer to agree to disagree. And that, folks, is making a marriage work.

 Day 20: Bokeh
This was another day that kicked my ass, just like the long exposure prompt. I couldn't figure out what I could photograph that would give me blur/background twinkles (technical term), so on the way home I pulled over into a hotel parking lot and frantically tried to figure out whatthehell to photograph. Perhaps that's why this photo is more bok-meh instead of bokeh... but alas, we have a palm tree, a parking deck, and a starbucks. You're welcome.

Day 21: Faceless Self Portrait
Okay... kinda faceless. Eyeless and half-nose-less, at least. Throw me a bone here, will ya? I bought this big floppy straw hat at Macy's. It made me feel like a movie star, so naturally, I had to have it. I haven't gotten a chance to wear it yet because I haven't graced the beach with my presence am too lazy to drive to the beach. Would I look like a major douche if I just wore it to the pool? I'm thinking yes. Damnit.

Day 22: Hands:
This was a pain in the ass because I hate my hands. They're like creepy, fat, baby hands. Every time I get my nails done, the little Vietnamese ladies always say "Ohh, you have bay-bay fingas. So cute." Sigh, this is my life, people. Talk about first world problems, huh?

Day 23: Sunflare
Confession: I pretty much blinded myself trying to get a sunflare because I'm an idiot. I initially tried to get the sun coming through some trees, accidentally looked DIRECTLY INTO THE SUN, and thus was blinded for a good 60 seconds. So instead I took this photo while driving to work. Don't be like me.

Day 24: Animal
I saw this snake bracelet a few days ago and absolutely had to have it. Isn't it very modern Cleopatra? I kind of wish I was Cleopatra in a past life... I love her and her devious ways.
And of course, I couldn't do the animal prompt and not take a photo of one of my puppies! This is Scout sunning himself on the floor. All three of them follow the sunlight all day long as it moves across the apartment just so they can lay in the warm spots. Love them. <3

Haha, the nail lady comment about your hands made me laugh. I can never get a manicure without getting critiqued either. My hands are small and bony. You can't win.... Also, I love your dog! :)
