14-18 and I'm Surprised I Didn't Burn Down The Apartment

Goood morning! I've got the next three days off, so naturally, I just woke up. That said, it's almost 11am and there's a massage to be had at 1 o'clock, therefore, this post will be quick and dirty. You know, like your creepy old uncle. *shudder*

Day 14: Eyes

I had to take two photos on this particular day. The first because I was rocking some aqua eyeliner and I actually curled my hair, which you can't really see anyway but whatever. The second because it's always sort of creeped me out. I love Audrey Hepburn and I've had this poster for years, but I only recently noticed that if you look carefully, you can actually see her eyes from behind her sunglasses. I don't know why but something about it is freaky to me. Next!

Day 15: Silhouette
If we're being honest, I basically ghetto-rigged everything about this photo. I took the shade off of one of our bedside lamps and stuck it behind a cheap end table that we got from Target when we were poor. I propped one of my ceramic animals (see, I am a crazy old lady) up on some books and clicked away. Then I got entirely too excited when I realized that the light from the lamp created the perfect shadow puppet lighting. I tried to get Mike to play with me. He looked at me like I was insane and shot me down. Such is life.

Day 16: Long Exposure
This was haaard (you have to read it in a whiney voice to get the full effect). I had to put on my big girl undies and use my real camera. I've gotten way too comfortable with my iPhone and Instagram lately. I couldn't find a flash light, or a dark room, and I was way too lazy to go outside. So I took this photo in a closet. With a candle. And a canvas covered in highly flammable paint. Probably not the best idea, but everyone is still alive, so I call it a success. That's supposed to be a heart, if you couldn't tell.

Okay... let's call it a pseudo-success.

Day 17: Technology
This is our home computer. It looks like something out of a sci-fi film, I know. My husband built it, and it is his baby. Have I ever mentioned that my husband is a bit of a nerd? Very handsome, but still a nerd. (Love you!)

Day 18: Your Shoes
I was going to do the shoes I'm wearing today, but considering I just woke up, I don't even know what I'm going to wear yet. Instead, I took a photo of my wonderful, beautiful wedding shoes. The love affair continues. They are the most gorgeous pair of shoes I have ever owned. I thought about getting them cleaned and dyed after the wedding so I could rewear them, but I decided against it. I love what the dirt and grass stains are. That's the dirt and grass from the aisle I walked down to marry my husband on one of the happiest days of my life. That's never getting washed away.

Do you have a sentimenal keepsake from your wedding?

@Erica: The side of his computer case is clear, so you can see all the tubing/lights/etc. inside of it! On most of the photos I just used the Instagram app on my iPhone. The border is standard on some of the filters!
