I googled "best brunch in Tampa" and up popped Jackson's Bistro, number one on the search. We had never been there before but it looked awesome, so off we went!
We enjoyed the brunch so much that we decided to make it our first newlywed tradition! Now, every first sunday of the month we hit Jackson's for the most holycrapamazing (I think I just coined a term) brunch ever. I finally remembered to take pictures this time so, yay! Less talk, more food!
They have a french toast/waffle station. Heaven.
Southern style biscuits and sausage gravy.
So bad for your arteries, so good for your tastbuds.
Eggs Benedict. My favorite breakfast food ever. Ever.
Potatoes O'Brian and corned beef hash.
Breakfast is my favorite, but lunch and I play well together, too.
Country beef stew, nom sandwich with pesto, and herb crusted roast beef.
Yes, they have a carving station. Have you stroked out yet?
Rasberry dark chocolate mini tart and a cannoli. I discovered that I do not like cannolis. Ew.
Last but not least, they have a chocolate fountain. Shut your face. It's true.
On top of the ridiculously delicious spread of food, Jackson's is right on the bay overlooking the water. Fortunately, we lucked out and got the most amazing sunny day this past Sunday.
It was fairly windy out, but it was the perfect companion to the almost 80 degree weather.
Don't worry, this is not the start of an Outfit Of The Day series! ;)
The view from Jackson's balcony area.
Downtown Tampa
Gotta love that clear blue sky!
Apparently dogs are allowed on the outdoor seating area. Bonus!

OMGosh... that looks like the best breakfast I've ever seen! I'm drooling right now!
You just had a bad cannoli! There's no WAY you like macarons and not like cannoli. Cannoli kicks macarons butt!
YUM! That looks SO GOOD! I love that you have a new tradition, that's so fun!
PS, your outfit is adorbs!
Holy cow that food looks incredible!
Wow that sounds delicious! Thinking about it, no, I don't think we do-at least I can't think of any. Hmmmm, now I need to find a brunch place. Thanks!
Mmm, that sounds so good! We're going to Florida soon, I should look up how far away this place is from where we're staying on Anna Maria Island!
@Andnowlights: I guess I'll just have to go on a mission to find a good canolli then! ;)
@Mandy: Thanks lady!
Sunday brunch is my most favourite food outing. We don't necessarily make it a tradition in the formal sense but we do try to get out at least once a month! Cute couple!
