So, you saw glimpses of our balloons peeking out from behind the tree at our ceremony, but really, we bought them to use during our portraits. I'm not sure where I first got the idea, and originally I was worried that they'd look cheap or childish, but I am so glad we decided to go for it. Wanna see why?
These are easily some of my favorite photos from the day.
Something about balloons just brings out the kid in everyone. So fun!
After moseying along hand-in-hand with our balloons, I decided that things needed to get a little competitive.
I kicked of my shoes, took off my veil, and ready... set... GO!
We started off neck-and-neck...
...
...but ultimately I was victorious. Eat my dust, Mr. Rainbow.
(justkiddingloveyou)Soon enough, it was time to part ways with our balloons.
Up,
Up,
Up, and away we go!
Up next, getting ready for our reception!
Miss a recap? Don't fret!
First, we rang in our New Years Day wedding day!
Then, the Rainbows got ready... together!
Next, I became a bride.
I walked down the aisle toward my love,
and we got married!
We made our way back up the aisle as husband and wife,
and made some time for family photos.
Afterward, we posed for portraits,
