Three in One

Here are the 3 latest #reverb10 prompts, yay!

December 21 – Future Self. Imagine yourself five years from now. What advice would you give your current self for the year ahead? (Bonus: Write a note to yourself 10 years ago. What would you tell your younger self?)

Advice for the year ahead? "Believe in yourself. Enjoy life. Don't take things too seriously. Try to find the positive in not-so-positive situations. Don't dwell. Don't stress. You can do it! P.S. You're awesome."

Myself ten years ago? "Love yourself. You are beautiful, not despite your differences, but because of them. Keep that in mind. You might be a little boy crazy, but don't give your heart away too easily. You are going to have a lot of fun in the next few years, but you're also going to go through some pretty tough shit. You might go a little wild and crazy in the next few years, but it's okay, you'll be fine. You are going to learn some hard lessons, but you're going to be better for it. Don't worry, you're going to grow up to be pretty kick-ass, if I do say so myself. Oh, and stop being such a stressful little twit to your parents."

December 22 – Travel
How did you travel in 2010? How and/or where would you like to travel next year?

Ha! How did I travel in 2010? I didn't. And it sucked. I plan to make up for that in spades in 2011. Where would I like to travel this coming year? Well, I would like to do an eastcoast/westcoast road trip this year, maybe go on a cruise, and take a trip out of the country if at all possible. For the top countries I would like to visit click here!

December 23 – New Name
Let’s meet again, for the first time. If you could introduce yourself to strangers by another name for just one day, what would it be and why?

Oh gosh, I'm constantly dreaming up new names for myself. I used to love the name Nadia, mostly because of its Russian roots. Then came American Pie and that was all over. Then I was stuck on the name Tennley. Not sure where I got that from. I once met a girl named Parrish and coveted her name for awhile. I still love that name, actually. Right now, I would go with Shoshanna. I forgot it existed until I saw Inglorious Basterds. It is such a gorgeous name. Maybe if/when I have a daughter I'll call her Shoshanna. Who knows!

Any travel plans for 2011?
What name would you choose for yourself?
