December 9 – Party Prompt: Party. What social gathering rocked your socks off in 2010? Describe the people, music, food, drink, clothes, shenanigans.
Had you asked me this my senior year of high school/first three months of collegebefore I dropped out, I would have quite a few extremely colorful stories to share with you.
However, that was then and this is now. And now, well, I'm pretty boring. I partied my face off in high school andmy brief stint in college, so frankly, I'm just over it.
I like to cook and decorate and shop. I'm not a partier. Don't ever invite me to a party at your house. I will fall asleep at midnight, curled up on your couch like a hobo on a park bench. True story. And someone did in fact tell me I looked like a hobo on a park bench. Good times had by all.
My partying nowadays consists of living room dance parties with my three dogs while Mike is gone. Sad, but true.
Is your life filled with exciting parties? Cause mine sure isn't, and I'm perfectly okay with that!

Frat party. $100 if you can guess what's in my Sonic cup. Hint: It's alcohol.
Drinking wine, and feeling fine. I'm not even sure I know this person.
Last but not least, Halloween. Pretty scandalous, I know. But that's how I rolled back then.

I've really settled down, too!! I have all the same pictures, partying and drinking, and nowadays it seems I spend more time on my computer, and snuggling on the couch next to the mister :) Good times! I have this great tee from Old Navy that says, "Staying in is the new going out!" Love it!
I am a stay at home girl too. But this year my girls and I have made a point of getting out for a night of dancing once every few months. Its fun, then I'm good for another few months!
If I went to a party nowadays, it better start early! I love to host gatherings but can't make it past ten anymore. A sign I'm officially getting old. :/
I 'bout near died laughing at "the hobo on a bench" line as my fiance does the same dern thing no matter who's house we go to! The clock strikes midnight and he assumes the position!
As I like to say, I spent my whole senior year (of high school) drunk - kind of got it out of my system! I'm too busy with work/classes now, so I can relate to being more of a homebody.
